Get off the plane with his wife





President Barack Obama finally fulfill his promise to visit Indonesia. U.S. presidential plane, Air Force One, landed at the Halim Perdanakusuma Airport, Jakarta, Tuesday (11/09/2010) afternoon at around 16:25 pm.

Obama down from the plane by holding his wife, Michelle Obama. Both were immediately greeted by Foreign Minister Marty Natalegawa, the Indonesian Ambassador to the U.S. Dino Patti Djalal and a number of other high officials. The delegation then went straight to the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, to direct the state received from President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.

This is Obama's first visit to Indonesia as President of the United States. Obama is scheduled to attend a dinner and a bilateral meeting with President Yudhoyono and a visit to Masjid Istiqlal, Kalibata Hero Cemetery, and the University of Indonesia on a tour for two days, 9-10 November 2010.

Obama's visit as a child under the spotlight because he never attended school in Indonesia. Obama can even speak Indonesian and some times say words in Indonesian language in meetings. Obama reportedly miss the meatballs, fried rice, and rambutan. Welcome, Obama!
